Website Widget (iframe)

How to set up a Website widget for your website?

You need to be familiar with HTML code and FTP software or your website content management system (CMS).

Create a new website widget

Login to your Artwinlive.com account and click on "My Widgets" in the settings menu at top of the page. Click on the "Add Widget" button to add a new widget.

Enter a description of your new website widget and select "Website Widget" from the "Export Type" drop-down box. Select all schedules or individual schedules to show only the gigs listed in those schedules.

You can limit the visible gigs by a number of months. Enter a "0" to show all future events.

Caution: If you check the "Show all gigs" feature non-confirmed gigs will be shown too. Do not check this field if you only want to show confirmed gigs.

Press "Save Widget" to save your new website widget.

Code generator

With the code generator, you will create the "iframe" code for your website.

First, click on the "edit" link of the "Website widget" and scroll down to the "Code Generator". The following options are available in the code generator:

Layout [layout=list|table]
The List shows all gigs in a list with a calendar icon. With Table, all information on one gig will be on one table row.

Color scheme [color=light|dark]
Select the colour scheme of your website. If you use a dark background for your website, you may select the "Dark" colour scheme.

Show amount of gigs [showgigs=0]
Limit the number of gigs shown. Leave blank to show all gigs.

Width
The width option sets the width of the iframe and does not affect any of the content.

Height
The height option sets the height of the iframe and does not affect any of the content.

showtime = [true | NULL]
By default, the start time of your gig will not show. Add &showtime=true to src property to show this time.

locale = {unix_locale}
By default (locale=en_US) the day/month names will be in English and 12 hour time format if showtime property is enabled. nl_NL (Dutch), de_DE (German), fr_FR (French)

* Please note that all settings can be set in the code if you like.

Implementing the code on your website

You can see a preview of your website schedule by pressing the "Preview" button at the bottom. If you're satisfied with the result, press the "Get code" button to open the Code dialogue.

Select and copy the code in the first textbox and paste it into your website HTML code. You can paste it on a new line right after the <body> tag.

Now select and copy the code from the second textbox and paste the iframe code wherever you want it to appear on your site.
